I was born in Truro, Cornwall and have been fortunate to be able to spend my whole life here. I have been involved in local politics as an Independent councillor for over 46 years as I am passionate about the environment and the quality of life of those who live in the local area. I am also a Methodist Local Preacher, and Christian faith informs my life and love of the countryside and people among whom I live.

I am always exploring new craft projects and ideas and am currently using my own wool products as I learn to rug hook.
